The men's study group meets Thursday evenings from 7-8 pm to explore the Holy word and grow in their individual faith journeys. Over the next seven weeks, they are studying the book of 1 Samuel which highlights the lives of three central OT figures: Samuel, Saul and David. If you've thought about increasing your knowledge of the Bible, come by and give it a try.

The 1 Samuel series runs April 23 to June 11; however, there is no meeting on April 30.

The group recently completed a 10-week study titled, "Parables: The Mysteries of God's Kingdom Revealed through stories Jesus Told." They gained new insights from the parables and good discussions. Prior to that, they viewed two DVD overviews of actual Biblical lands that are described in the Old Testament books to broaden their appreciation of the land where the events occurred.

Join the sewing crew in the Canterbury room for a morning of volunteering. A donation of just $5 can provide a child with a special pillowcase while they spend time in the hospital. A hospital experience can be terrifying and traumatic for both a child and their family. While others strive to find a cure, Ryan’s Case for Smiles helps with the stress and emotional impact of illness in the here and now. Our whimsical pillowcases give children an emotional boost, during their hospital stay. Congratulations on completing 70,000 pillowcases sewn with love! 

St. Mary's is happy to provide a space for this ministry to gather at 10 am on the 2nd Monday of each month.

If you would like to financially contribute, checks or cash can be turned into the church office to be passed along to the group.
