Daughters of the King

April 12

The Daughters of the King (DOK) is a national order for women who are committed to a rule of life which includes prayer and service. The St. Mary’s Emmanuel Chapter meets at St. Mary's the second Sunday of each month. Daughters pray daily for our parish, its members and clergy, as well as the nation and world. If you have special prayer concerns, the Daughters of the King will pray confidentially for you.

Safe Church Training

On Sat., April 24, we will host Safe Church training for individuals in leadership, those who hold a key, those in ministry with children or elders, and those working with building maintenance.

Volunteering at Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma

April 25
9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

St. Mary’s is volunteering at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on Sat., April 25, from 9:30 am to 12 pm. We have space for 25 people to help sort and pack food that will be distributed to chronically hungry children and seniors living on fixed incomes. 

Participation is open to individuals eight years and up. All first-time volunteers will need to sign a liability waiver, and parents of children under 18 will need to complete a parental consent form.

We’ll meet at the Food Bank, which is at 3355 S. Purdue Ave, near the airport in southwest Oklahoma City.
