Interested in growing your knowledge and faith side-by-side? Consider joining an Education for Ministry (EfM) group.

EfM is a unique four-year learning certificate program in theological education centered on small-group study and theological reflections. As an EfM group member, you will encounter the vast breadth and depth of the Christian tradition, in an Episcopal context, and bring it into conversation with your own personal experiences of the world and the experiences of others.

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school term is underway.
The meetings will be at St. Mary’s beginning Mon., Sept. 14, from 7-9:30 pm.

The themes over the four years are:

• The Journey with God (focused on the first person of the trinity)
• Following Jesus (focused on the second person of the trinity)
• Listening to the Spirit (focused on the third person of the trinity)
• Engaging the World (focused on creation and our neighbors)

Each month, the Men's group and the Ladies group gather for dinner together - separately.

Both dinner events welcome church members and newcomers interested in getting to know others in a casual setting.

• The Men's Dinner Group will meet Fri., Sept. 11, in St. Mary's parish hall. Fellowship begins at 6:30 p.m., and dinner is served at 7 p.m. 
• For Ladies Night Out, also Fri., Sept. 11, meet at Los Arcos on 2nd street in Edmond at 6:30 p.m.

The dinners are typically on the first Friday of the month. We'll resume the normal schedule in October.

We welcome the choir back after their summer break.

Children's Formation classes also resume.

Come celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis with two fun events on Sun., Oct. 4:

Petting zoo and food trucks - at St. Mary's Church immediately after the 10 a.m. service. Come visit the animals from A2Z Therapeutic Petting Zoo. Also, grab some lunch from Smashed OK food truck.

Pet blessing - at St. Mary's School at 4 p.m. All leashed and caged pets are welcome!
This is an annual tradition to honor St. Francis as the patron saint of animals and to celebrate the bond between humans and animals. Our pets show us unconditional love, trust, and simplicity. The blessing renews our commitment to care for them and honor all living creatures as part of God's creation
